As part of the conference programme, our Partner, Nazlı Kumbaracı Arıkan, participated as a panelist in the session entitled “Risk, Cost and Reputation: The In-House View of Disputes,” held on 1 October 2026. The panel brought together in-house counsel from Türkiye’s leading companies and explored how legal risks, dispute resolution costs, corporate reputation and commercial priorities intersect in the management of disputes. Drawing on her experience in complex international disputes and construction projects, Nazlı highlighted the importance of understanding clients’ business objectives, risk appetite and commercial realities, as well as the role of external counsel as a strategic partner throughout the different stages of projects and disputes.
On the evening of 1 October 2026, ARIKAN PARTNERS was also delighted to co-host its annual General Counsel Dinner at Çırağan Palace Kempinski, Istanbul. Continuing a tradition that has become an important part of our engagement with the international legal community, the dinner brought together general counsel, in-house legal professionals and distinguished colleagues from different industries and jurisdictions.
